Original Item. Only One Available. This is a very nice regulation M1910 Enlisted Visor cap with a 1920’s gilt eagle cap device and two yellow felt bands indicating Calvary. It is made of dark blue wool, and has an enameled leather visor bound with patent leather, lined on the underside with lacquered paper. There is a maker’s tag in the plastic crown protector for Jacob Reed’s Sons in Philadelphia, and is marked Size 7 ¼.

The interior leather sweatband is in good shape but the stitching has come quite undone over the years near the front. The two gilt buttons still hold the original chinstrap in place. This is a fantastic example of an inter-war cavalry cap, ready for further research and display!
